Source: Xbox Series X may launch on 6 November
Just yesterday, Microsoft confirmed a November release for the upcoming Xbox Series X, and two separate leaks are already pointing to a specific date: November 6th.
Both leaks come from the controllers for the upcoming console, just days after a fan snagged one early and discovered the packaging confirmed the existence of the rumored cheaper Xbox Series S variant.
The Verge’s Tom Warren shared an image of an alleged store delivery of the new controllers with clear instructions not to sell or display the content until November 6, 2020.
Xbox Series X may be released on November 6th. A tipster informed me that the boxes for the new controllers list November 6th as the non-opening date. These controllers were leaked earlier this week https://t.co/oyhlbg2SKo pic.twitter.com/dq096shN7L

This is backed up by a screenshot posted to Resetera of the alleged online warranty page for one of the leaked gamepads.
The website lists the Microsoft Limited Warranty end date as November 5, 2021. Since this limited warranty is standard for one year from purchase, it looks like November 6th is likely to be the first sale date.
In any case, we now know for sure that Series X will be out sometime in November, although its flagship game won’t be joining it. The anticipated launch title, Halo Infinite, has now been pushed back to 2021, putting pressure on Microsoft to convince players to upgrade at the end of the year.
