Source: Google Pixel 7 Pro design shown in case leak
(Pocket-lint) – We’ve probably got a while before Google unveils its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro smartphones – after all, the much-rumoured Pixel 6a has yet to be launched. However, that hasn’t stopped one case company from creating mock-up renders of the upcoming Pro version in one of their future products.
Leaked images show the alleged Google phone with a curved front screen, a horizontal camera module – similar to the Pixel 6 Pro, albeit a bit redesigned – and no 3.5mm audio output.
The rear lens setup looks a little different, consistent with some previous rumours, although much of the rest of the design is very familiar.
The images were posted by TechGoing, which indicates that the front of the phone doesn’t have a punch-hole cutout. That doesn’t mean it comes with an under-display camera, though, just that the case company simply forgot.
Other leaked specs for the Google Pixel 7 Pro suggest the 2022 model will come with either a 6.7- or 6.8-inch OLED display. It’s also powered by a next-gen version of Google’s own Tensor silicon.
The rumors are that it will also have up to 12GB of RAM, as well as a 512GB storage option.
We doubt we’ll hear anything about it during next week’s Google I/O, but it’s worth checking our coverage for other big Google announcements.
