Source: iPhone 14 Pro leak reveals display with pill-and-hole design
(Pocket-lint) – Apple’s next iPhone, believed to be the iPhone 14 series, is already widely rumoured. The Pro models are expected to feature new displays with a pill-shaped cutout and a hole for the Face ID sensors and front camera. Now a real picture of the new phones has surfaced online.
On Chinese social media site Weibo (via @SaranByte on Twitter and reported by 9to5Mac). The leaked image not only shows the pill-and-hole design for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, but also thinner bezels and a larger aspect ratio for these phones. The image also reveals that the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models will have the same notch as the iPhone 13 models. Keep in mind that this leaked image is unconfirmed, but it does match previous leaks we’ve been tracking so far.

Apple usually launches its new flagship iPhone models in September. That’s been the pattern for a number of years — at least ignoring 2020. Assuming Apple continues this strategy, it’s possible that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be announced on September 13, 2022. Remember, this is just guesswork. Nothing has been confirmed yet, and it won’t be for a few months.
